  1. The public are too savagely ignorant to produce such a candidate let alone elect one. The average American reads therefore thinks at an 8th grade reading level and even worse does not consider voluntary ignorance shameful. (It wasn't always like that. I was alive then too.) Whoever best panders to the yowling beastmob is rewarded with power.

  2. I live in SC and Nikki is all about power for Nikki. She's highly intelligent but she's also another Lindsay Graham when it comes to "adjustable principles". The American people are generally too passionately ignorant to elect highly competent people so they vote for whoever makes them feel good. Graham and Haley knew how to play hicktastic SC like a fiddle but exist to serve their wealthy donor class. However she would be a capable VP since Vice Presidents don't run much of anything but smart ones can offer useful input without making policy. Other than the usual serving the rich Haley is pretty sharp, just not what the US needs as POTUS. She'd help turn out the conservative female vote to elect Trump.
