  1. That's why I do (all) my own maintenance. I've saved so much I can buy any tool I want then keep that tool for life. It's easier than ever to learn (I started long before the internet) with videos while online shopping and delivery means far less physical shopping at brick and mortar stores.

  3. Buy cheap, renovate yourself, pay it down quickly then when you get old you have no mortgage OR rent. Worked a treat for me because I don't need to make payments on some McMansion I would never own.
