  1. Buying in areas hit once means you'll eventually get zapped. Everyone is free to study hurricane maps, storm surge maps, flood plain maps, local history, property elevations etc so I did before buying. The only reason most people moved to Florida is the rest of the ignorant herd moved to Florida. I do not follow herds because I'm not a sheep.
