  1. Shocking to who, military illiterates too ignorant to have opinions? CEP for unguided ordnance off IAF airframes is amply accurate as it is for US versions of the same airframes. If you want an issue why make one up? To lay persons "imprecise" or "precise" has no meaning. "More probability of error" in no way means sloppy or casual. With hostile and friendly forces so close the IAF cannot afford much fratricide (there will always be some Blue on Blue which is the nature of warfare). Wasting PGM on targets not meriting PGM is pointless. War is not Hollywood and the only way to conquer a contested urban area is to destroy it. Using a JDAM to strike from a distance is a valid use because it confers standoff. OTOH wasting them when they must be available for necessary use is military malfeasance. IAF aircraft can get well in range for accurate delivery in Gaza without shwacking friendlies. Most bombs used in Desert Storm were unguided but the aircraft delivering them were so precise F-111 could use one bomb per Iraqi tank ("tank plinking") to great effect.
