  1. The VOTERS are to blame because their inaction is a CHOICE. Modern society is too complex for silly people to navigate, so they mostly don't. "Politicians" are not the problem, their root cause (the id10t public everywhere) is the problem.

  2. The only people worth listening to on such subjects are transport professionals operating barge traffic on that river. Infotainment spokesmodels are not those experts. As for flooding, don't live there. The middle of the US is nearly empty so there's plenty of room elsewhere.

  3. Reunification backfired. I quite enjoyed 1980s West Germany, could not have asked for better hosts and it was an honor to defend them. Today its leftists eagerly import people from violently patriarchal, repressive societies who are not there for anything but economic reasons.

  4. Flooding Canada with more people has consequences. Selling to major investors has consequences. Nothing will change because the problems are too deep to solve by rule of law when the ruling class owns the government.
