  1. Scientists should avoid working for the US government and take their skills to private enterprise so they have a chance to receive proper compensation. The USA is savagely anti-intellectual and rustic (thanks to the Crown using it as a social dumping ground) and that will never be different. That means our government is broken with respect to science. Capable humans should know going in to chase profit or starve.
