  1.  GrumpyNCO  Rifle types don't win or lose modern wars. They're on the winning SIDE which is different. Artillery and mortar fire topped the list for casualties as usual.

  3.  @konradkorzenowski  Suppressive fire wins because seeing enemy behind cover is problematic.

  4.  @orlock20  They can be HERF'ed, CIWSed, and SHORAD is a thing in modern armed forces. Forces which cannot afford ubiquitous SHORAD will be disadvantaged.
