@Zoltan1251 Agreed. In your countries (I follow custom motorcycling) bikers rewind generators, alternators and motors which would be discarded in the West. I'm an old style mechanic/technician who took lifelong care to have broad, diverse experience. I repair and maintain nearly everything I own because it's so much fun and saves money I can enjoy buying more motorbikes.

@attilamarics3374 That would be due to PARTS issues. Given tech data and a modest training any real mechanic can wrench anything from jet fighters to lawnmowers. (I fixed Phantoms, Broncos (comm/nav) and F-16s (engines, crew chief, Red X qualified all systems) for 26 years and wrenched motorcycles, cars, trucks and machinery. It's not hard to take any farm boy and turn them into a heavy equipment mechanic. I suggest non-mechanics recuse themselves from opinions on the subject.

Training methodology and communication is a solved problem because training relationships were built long ago by the Brits and US. Since the US doesn't have to teach basic soldiering the courses can be intense without the usual other activities.
