  1. Can someone explain the very deliberate and obvious flood of these "the sky is falling" videos? What dimwits are they aimed at? I despise the CCP but a country that shrugged off famines and the Cultural Revolution is rather unlikely to implode over minor economic problems. What drives the obviously intense desire to exaggerate them and who are the target audience? For example Falun Gong run the Epoch Times in the US which is popular with people senile enough for printed papers. Videos in English are not aimed at Chinese, so who ARE they aimed at?
