  1. They would lose. The Egyptian military is a jobs program, a business and a way to control the Egyptian people. Egypt has no external enemies that matter. Egypt has no power projection, no suitable logistics, and the distance is much too far.

  3.  @physetermacrocephalus2209  Air power works against delicat complex first world systems. Constabulary operations where the humans we kill cost almost nothing do not fare so well. Air power narcissists are too easily seduced by techno-excitement. The reality of airpower is different.
