How much have YOU donated to other museum ships? People love spending other peoples money. It's just a relic, that era is dead and gone, and the remaining people who remember it will be likewise in the next couple decades. Ship preservation is staggeringly expensive. Now the sea will be its grave and divers can amuse themselves while marine life and fish thrive in their new artificial reef.
