I do not need the social engagement of my mental inferiors when I'm happy with my peers. Looking prosperous is just expensive vanity. I not only don't care to keep up with neighbors, I have as few neighbors as practical and that suits me mine. Conventional thinking is for fools I want nothing to do with.
