  1. Americans USED to object to Soviet conquest. I was alive then. I don't much respect the modern sort and had no personal part in their choice to be historically and socially and militarily illiterate because they prefer trifling amusements. When the US stood for something both sides of the aisle resisted world Communism. Now spite matters more to a significant number of ignorant rustics who imagine they're patriots.
