  1. The silly part is ITEMIZING the fee. Raise prices across the board and there is no problem. Separate charges need not exist and it's foolish to itemize them as surcharges when you can just increase menu prices. If three percent hurts you have no reason to eat out in the first place. Grow up and save money instead.
