  1. Who is an outsider to decide "worth" from a position of wealth and comfort? If there were better jobs available the workers would obviously apply for them.

  2. The business is obviously profitable so if the owners with to compete they will invest in more efficient production. The same workers will then be able to produce more scissors. China's economy was in ruins after 1948 so Chinese solved that problem. Indians can certainly do likewise unimpeded by Maoist nonsense which delayed Chinese development by decades.
