  1. Fast food in the US was always garbage but it's convenient garbage. The rest of the economy is strong. Fast foods selling point was always CONVENIENCE, not cheapness. It was never intelligent to live off it and as soon as that got popular the US got OBESE, DIABETIC and UNHEALTHY. Good riddance.
