  1. I hauled ass in 1981 because the future was obvious. Crowding, taxes and high cost of living. There is no reason to live there unless you are VERY rich. I can easily afford ten acres in NC (only 800 bucks in property tax) so I do. Bonus, I get rational vehicle and firearms laws.
