  1. I don't need anyone to buss my tables, serve me coffee etc because eating out is a waste of money. The USPS is tax funded and private carriers can either pay enough or shut down. Teaching is another government job which can either be appropriately compensatied or there will be no workers. Alternate option (for all the rich new arrivals) is out of state boarding school. Not everyone needs to be able to live everywhere, and smart people plan our lives to be mobile. If an area is popular then that's a warning to leave when you can cash out for a profit. I do not live in popular areas because growth ruins them for everyone who isn't rich. If your entire live isn't systematically devoted to economic survival you're doing it wrong, and that includes planning LONG in advance to not live in areas which WILL become expensive. Wyoming didn't happen overnight. Life is war, a long grim struggle demanding exhaustive planning. Of course I don't live in Wyoming for the same reasons I escaped New Jersey decades ago. This reality will not change so instead of pretending that's practical best to save your own bacon.
