I find the anti-CCP ramp up interesting because so much of it originates from internal stakeholders like Falun Gong (Epoch Times) etc. Chinese are not Westerners and easily shrugged off multiple famines and the Cultural Revolution. China will simply smother complaints and foster internal ultranationalism to keep the peace among its simple masses (techies don't run Beijing).
