  1. Putinists want a USSR and Warsaw Pact revival. Russians in living memory Gulag'ed, murdered and abused indigenous Latvians. Russians were settled in Latvia to displace native Latvians. None of those things are subject to reasonable doubt. Ever wonder why most of the former Warsaw Pact are ENTHUSIASTIC members of NATO? If you do, read post-1900 history of both Romanov and Bolshevik/Stalinist/etc Russian empires. Ask Latvians!
