The G.I.classic Permethrin is used to fend off ticks for good reason, but after my wife got Lyme I have no intelligent reason to enter wooded areas except to cut down mine other than a narrow windbreak. I treat my uniforms (ideal for the hostile environment we call "nature") and hang them in my greenhouse to rapidly dry out. BTW copper sulphate kills mosquito larvae and can be good for plants.
