  1. So what? The point of these schools is to GET MONEY FROM DONORS which catering to those donors facilitates. Life is competitive and to renounce advantage is silly and naive (unless your existing status makes that trivial). The point of striving for prosperity is the advantages it confers. The point of legacy admissions is the money it generates for all students.
