@Coyoteluvr In fact the attack was to destroy AL QAEDA not the Taliban and nation building nonsense came later. Too bad no serious number of Americans will study the details. The Talibs offered to negotiate because they didn't want the headache of their AQ guests, but of course "we don't negotiate with terrorists" and that was that.
