@markojovanovic9651 They've broken no laws and the consumer is perfectly free to choose different hardware. Apple knows most users consider computers magic and would never upgrade RAM or storage even if that were an option. They get rich serving those customers so no one else should be offended, just amused which I am. Apple target the luxury market quite effectively and their customers are delighted so I see no problem. My choices are unaffected by Apple.

@andreasxfjd4141 Of course and has been for many years. My old P52 has 128GB (I use multiple VM) and thanks to replaceable RAM (which Apple lacks) the usual and very economic upgrade is buy for the CPU while ordering the smallest hdd available, then maxing out RAM and hdd specs. Apple wants max revenue from its wealthy customers so its drives are also soldered. It's a brilliant business model because the vast majority of computer users are helpless and prefer to make as few choices as practical, but more capable customers are better served with expandable machines which can serve much longer.
