No surprise since not every culture interchanges but a terrible performance compared to China. Russian culture has no important virtues and is purely predatory so the "best" it's ever done is neo-mafia butchers as fond of killing fellow Russians as of enslaving the neighbors.

  3. Where do you get THAT idea? Russians resent LOSING. If they objected on principle they'd have spoken up early. They chose otherwise. Projecting was a disaster the first time with the Soviet Union and its inherently corrupt successors. The current batch of pols waited to see where the wind was blowing to make their move so they don't get displaced by whatever new regime follows Putin. There are no "good" Russian politicians, just competing gangsters eager to fool gullible ignorant history-averse Westerners.

  4. Merely because a Russian pretends to agree with you does not make them noble. As decisively demonstrated more than once after the USSR imploded one does not become a Russian politician without mobbing deep and preparing a safe landing when their boss is replaced. Stop wanting to believe in the goodness of Russians because that's a proven mistake which does zero good. Putin will most likely be replaced by a much more dangerous competent ultranationalist.

  5. Let's not pretend they're unhappy about anything but losing. Russian politicians are just other mobsters like Putin trying to place themselves in a safe position as in previous leadership swaps. Russia cannot reform because it has zero cultural basis for anything but the tyrannical predatory systems it has ALWAYS had since Tsarist times. Russia is intrinsically evil and all of its "reformers" failed without exception because Russia is really a genocidal (twice in Ukraine with millions dead the first time) mafia with nuclear weapons.
