  1. The REAL reason CA legalized weed was money not personal freedom. That was the only way to get it past big business opposition. There is too much money involved for the state not to be greedy which means laws WILL drive prices up which INEVITABLY fosters an alternate illegal market. A free market would mean "free as the grass on a lawn)" not a tax cow for the usual rich who see the little people as peasants.
