  1. They're delicate toys sold at absurd markup. Buying a new car is almost always a bad idea even if you have the money because it is not a wise use of money. I am far from rich but could buy a new car for cash for the simple reason I would and will never buy a new car. I paid off my house early by not being silly. I retired early by not being silly. I have no house or car loans by not being silly. Sense a theme? Anyone can do this. Let someone else buy new then snag the thing a few years later for vastly less.
