  1. EVs work well for COMMERCIAL use but no private person NEEDS one. Buying a new vehicle is a purely luxury purchase for private parties and when your purchase is DISCRETIONARY buyers expect zero sacrifice. I didn't buy new vehicles because I chose to pay off my houses instead. I don't buy them now because they're an unwise economic choice. I can drive my truck(s) and motorcycle(s) for many years on what a crippled BEV would cost, and none of the trucks serve MY use case. Not my circus, not my monkeys, not my problem if overpriced product rots on the lots.
