  1. No, they don't. That's a myth because they'd get the sale either way, Small businesses can include the fees in all prices and customers will never notice. It's when they do silly sheet like having cash discounts etc that customers start doing the math. Smart small businesses (including individuals at flea markets etc) make the effort to take plastic. A USB card reader is dirt cheap.
