Jamming only degrades GPS. Jamming does not affect INS but INS as fitted to supplied JDAM kits is only yields ~30 meter CEP while GPS yields ~5 meter CEP (per public release anyway). Reducing effectiveness is not the same thing as rendering supplied JDAM "useless". In the perpetual electronic race expect both sides to invest in home-on-jam missile systems for SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defensed). Jamming and countermeasures constantly evolve. Glavset and friends naturally prefer absolutist assertions which make better propaganda given their non-technical audience. Tabloid media in the West are equally silly but the simple masses demand simple assertions or their eyes glaze over.

@mark4371 Military illiterates should not permit themselves opinions on tech they do not understand but of course they do. Mass media (including Youtube and its Google parent) wxist to monetize viewers. Meaningless terms like "red line", "game changer" and other nonsensical buzzwords are popular because they can be used anywhere which reinforces that popularity making them useful for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Standoff weapons properly employed work nicely (Israeli use of JDAM and other standoff munitions for example) but one also needs enough weapons with sufficient airframes to deliver them. Neither Ukraine nor Russia have a modern air force. They have legacy air forces with a few modern systems. This war is rather like the Iran-Iraq war which is why I expect it to last as long as Putin feels like expending non-Muscovites (which historically is considered a feature not a bug).

Tape is long obsolete. Media is digital and who dug up that ancient telly?

English rule in Ireland was comparable to Russian brutality and genocide in Ukraine. The potato famine and Holomodor have much in common.
