  1. WHO is it BAD for? Not I. I buy used then keep the good ones for life. My '76 F350 wrecker is good until the sun burns out and I've a complete spare I'm restomodding. My 2000 Silverado (with upgraded 4L60) is fine and I'm hunting a 2500HD. Even if you pay someone else to fix a classic it remains a classic. I've lived through multiple truck life cycles and learned. My 1997 and 2000 F150s are good for another two decades, my home(s) are paid off because I don't waste much money, and life is fine. I could buy new for cash because I'm too smart to buy new at all.
