  1.  @LordsofMedia  The problem with SO is that folks like yourself frame it as some kind of answering machine. You must input a "perfect question" to receive a "perfect answer." That's just not how human communication works and it's a ridiculous way to frame a discussion. You don't know what you don't know, as they say, so some back-and-forth must take place before meaningful answers can be given. This used to be technical support and software discussion 101; every competent programmer knew this because they had experienced it. Imagine if you called your telecoms provider because your internet was not working and when you said "I'm calling because my internet seems to be out," the rep's response was "Clearly you didn't try restarting your modem. I'm hanging up now and don't call back for 3 days." These standards for writing questions and answers did not use to be so strict in the past, and people would often work together (crazy concept, I know) to arrive at a solution through revision and suggestions in the comments. Then at the end the guy the questioner was talking to in the comments would post an answer summarizing what they'd learned so he could receive the due rep points. However, at some point this changed. This attitude of "How dare you ask such an incomplete question. Off with you until you've learned to behave" is absurdly childish. Why are you here on this website if you would have such a useless attitude? How are you performing a service by closing the question or even suspending the user? They claim they are servicing the answerers who browse the site by de-cluttering their feed. How is it this hard to skip a question? Instead of saying "Oh this is a dumb question. I'm going to rip this loser a new asshole!" you could say "Oh this is a dumb question. Next."
