  1.  @SpongeBob-yk9oo  you've misplaced the burden of proof, the much more reasonable stance when you detach yourself from bias fostered since childhood is "how do you know that there is some cosmic force ensuring every person receives poetic, and honestly to some extent, petty and spiteful justice for perceived crimes during life?" the real truth of it that you don't want to admit is, you believe it because it makes you feel better. because it would suck to live in a world where evil people get to just get away with it and die of natural causes. and it does suck, but it's also dumb to worry about things you never had any control over to begin with. it is, when you really think about it, stupid and childish to imagine that some guy is getting his butt poked by a devil with a pitchfork, despite you having never interacted with him just because you read about some stuff he did in a textbook i don't even hate Christians, indeed, it's hard to deny their contributions to humanity, but the self serving "ahhhh yes the bad man is getting buggered!!" wank just has no place in a mature mind in my opinion. in the worst case it convinces people that inaction is fine because "well they're going to hell anyway"
