@pugsymalone6539 "the burden is on real, old-school, JFK liberals to defend/reclaim the definition of the word and the culture," The burden is on everyone, collectively, to remind each other that the label has been co-opted. Classical liberals are a victim in this culture war. When topics like these are brought up, typically "conspiracy theorist" and other such meaningless labels are thrown around immediately. We have a duty to ensure that the truth is kept in focus and all of us lose by not doing that. By "we" I mean literally everyone not just conservatives. There are high-level government agencies with virtually no accountability working since decades past to manipulate this narrative. Most notably the CIA.
