@THE_ROYALS2019 They wanted her to help hold the guy down so he could arrest him. It's extremely hard to restrain someone who doesn't want to be restrained using only your bare hands. There was 1 cop and 1 good Samaritan trying to hold the suspect down. If either of them moved or did anything else, that guy would be getting on his feet and running. That said I think it was rather naive of the cop to ask for help. You can't just walk into a situation like that and assume you're going to be in the right and not held liable for anything in court if it turns out the cops made a mistake down the line.

@miguelbermudez5426 Agreed, I can't believe the cop's best move was "lay on top of the guy" even with someone else helping him.
