  1.  @jacksonrobertson2782  Uh, dude, you have to consider what is behind and near your target when you shoot a firearm. It's one of the basic tenants of gun safety and anyone in the US who owns a gun would consider you a major liability if you did not know this. Let alone a "trained" police officer. Pepper spray is more than sufficient for keeping an animal away from you. Bear spray is weaker than the pepper spray we use for self-defense.
