@TheREALDocRabbit It is not the ATCs fault, pilots have come forward and said that they have suffered near misses while landing at Reagan for years. This is a systemic issue with our military, their flight planning, and the idiocy of civilian and military aircraft being totally unable to communicate with each other. The ATC gave the helicopter pilot clear instructions which she did not follow and even possibly lied to the ATC in response (about having the plane in visual)

I live in Texas. Lucky enough to never encounter a "bum camp." Have seen homeless people on the train though, I used to work downtown and I can't drive. Vision reasons. Once, one of them was on with three or four huge bags of garbage he'd salvaged. The entire car and half the adjacent cars smelled horrendous.

fionasmith-bz8ox By discarding your own blood over such a disagreement you are stating that one singular vote matters so much in our election process that you should disown your family over it. It is absolutely insane, there is no way you can make it look reasonable. Even if your views are extremist, it shows profound ignorance of the election process and idealism to the point of stupidity. This is how people who have nothing going on in their lives and are too lazy to get a productive hobby prevent themselves from getting bored. I've lost relations with family over much more serious personal matters. This ain't it. On top of all that, you are allowing yourself to become a stooge for a political cause. No matter if that cause is just or not, it isn't worth losing your individuality over.
