@OriginalJoseyWales do you think people have a right to privacy? should I have to buy a home big enough for a home gym, then all of the equipment for said gym, because you believe that everyone must submit to being filmed?

Most people just don't have the mental energy or wherewithal to sue over incredibly banal issues like this. I am most likely one of them. In a sense, if you allow such a petty, ridiculous person to monopolize your time and resources, you give them power over you. That includes filing a lawsuit, paying a lawyer, etc. If it were the only gym the blind guy could go to, it would be different though.

I'm worried about a situation like this but thankfully it hasn't really come up yet. I have poor vision, poor enough that I have decided driving is a terrible idea, but not so poor that you can immediately tell "he's blind" just by looking at me and how I act. My glasses lenses are quite thick, but not very noticeable from the front.

@qua7771 This isn't even a problem in 95% of gyms. Social media amplifies the minority through over-reporting. I go to a public gym multiple times a week, with fat-assed Instagram influencers that work out in it (I can tell just by the body type), and have never been approached by anyone for this.

@nickthompson1812 name a single politician other than Trump who has ever admitted guilt to anything, despite incriminating evidence. no seriously, I'll be impressed if you can give me a real answer. it's standard operating procedure. don't blame Trump for acting like a politician normally does

@JGD714 That money wouldn't really go towards him, it would go towards the lawyer.
