@ReallyOneOfThem Cleaning isn't a factor here because he didn't fire the gun a single time. In other words there was no opportunity for the automatic self-loading mechanism to work. He didn't load his gun correctly and didn't check his gun before trying to rob the truck. Maybe it was a bad magazine that didn't feed the first round correctly. The springs on those are usually one of the first things to go.

@Victor-ze3sd Not that weird. News outlets are dumb, cops can also be dumb about guns sometimes. There's many different points where that information can be sabotaged by a game of "telephone."
