@bubblezovlove7213 You can just use ziplock bags really, I keep treats I carry around in a ziplock bag and any time my dog hears plastic crinkling she checks to see if I'm going to give her a treat.

I don't think pulling on a dog that size is very productive. Pulling is really more like a suggestion to dogs, if they're big enough and don't want to go it just doesn't really work. It's easier to outsmart the dog and incentivize them to go with something else. This guy did that by pretending he was going to leave the dog behind, activating its "I don't want to be alone" anxiety.

@absboodoo The real fear, for me at least, is getting judged by some Karen who thinks whatever you're doing is abuse regardless of the reasoning.

That's just having a dog, similar to being a parent. With dogs, you'll probably be picking up poop in a bag in front of other people. The embarrassment quickly vanishes because you care about the dog. First day I walked my current dog, a family with a kid in a stroller passed by while I was picking up her poop and the kid stared at me and said "EWWW YUCKY!" I looked over my shoulder, smiled and said "You gotta do what you gotta do." The parents laughed. This is why parents are immune to cringe.
