@pdr-s5i How is that stupid? Your car is a 2-ton steel projectile and it is registered with the government. Do you think the cops just give away all this information to random people? Also, it's incredibly stupid that a person is allowed to defend their property with lethal force but traps are not allowed, because people are prone to mistakes. There have been cases where police arrive at a home (usually the wrong home) unannounced and the homeowner kills a cop because he believed he was being burgled and was let go.

@cheeseycarp5364 You have a lot more faith in humanity than I would. My only problem with the practice is that it should have a warning sign. Most of the time these warnings are enough to deter criminals by themselves.
