@idicula1979 Rural communities don't magically get better just because you throw people at them. In fact, the opposite happens if you do that too quickly. There won't be enough jobs, perhaps even not enough food at local markets. Crime will rise because so many people will be unemployed.

@hulknotlikepunybanner My man. Donald Trump has funded hundreds of businesses. That statement does not hold the weight that you think it does. It actually makes him look like a successful businessman. And clowns like you always say this as if to imply he got his money from somewhere else. Where? He was never a politician so he couldn't take your tax money, or bribes from lobbyists, like every other politician. Do you really think he was a dilettante just sitting on his family's fortune doing nothing useful the whole time? Like Jeb Bush?

It injected something into our nation which is nearly non-existent in modern politics: accountability. You want to be a sanctuary city? Okay, we're not. Take our illegals then because the feds aren't stopping them. Oh suddenly you're having second thoughts because you have to put your money where your mouth is? Funny.

Rogan didn't get smashed in the face, I think he shifted over time. He is impartial enough and curious enough to let almost anyone onto his podcast, as long as he finds them interesting, and I think hearing out the perspectives of many different people has caused his views to shift over time.
