  3. It's the same effect as smut, you become desensitized to it. When women do it IRL, it's empowering. As soon as it doesn't involve a real woman directly taking advantage of her own body, it is somehow misogynist. Easiest example to point to is animated smut. The cognitive dissonance and blatant selfishness is exhausting. I have consumed a lot of it in my day. But I am a bit of a hopeless romantic, so I still find it easy to get in the mood. I can't speak for other men, but I get the feeling it's not always as easy for them. At this point, I find that sexual attraction is more about an emotional connection or emotional dynamic than anything else.
