@abeidiot It wasn't buried for those who matter, i.e. the gamers. Nobody takes Kotaku seriously anymore. Remember Gawker? They no longer exist.

@pyrojkl His point is that the corruption was obvious if you actually paid attention to the review scores, and which games always got good reviews. IGN was known as a corrupt outlet for eons before GamerGate.

@GameslordXY The ones who consider themselves professionals, yeah. Do some research, these people have their own mailing list to coordinate articles and all think the same shit. It's a cult.

@GameslordXY They typically are driven by conspiracy, actually. Same with movie critics. There's very little objective in the way of reviewing if you're at the top echelon. At that point, like with most other fields, it's all just playing politics to stay on top.
