@JayceCH. Pokemon Stadium had better animations than what GF uses in their current gen games, released decades ago. A Chinese mobile game company licensed to make a Pokemon game makes better animations. There isn't really any excuse for the awful performance of SwSh when BOTW performed better as a launch title. I am not one of the people who demands 1000+ Pokemon be in the same game -- frankly I just don't care about having that many, but it's obvious even leaving that aside that they are getting pretty lazy. I think it's fairly obvious that, due to the split ownership of the Pokemon franchise, it is suffering from overly conservative business strategy and complacency because people keep buying the product anyway. There are 3 separate stakeholders, The Pokemon Company, Nintendo and GF. Disagreements between these 3 parties will lead to inaction and very conservative strategies. Every time they allow a company to make a spin-off title, it seems to be higher effort than what GF puts into it. They're very comfortable in their position as one of the 3 stakeholders of the franchise.

@Soyunapina23 They haven't truly delivered since Skyrim, that was 11 years ago. FO4 was pretty disappointing in my opinion, the settlement system especially was half-baked and blatantly unfinished. Which sucked because it was probably my favorite part of the game
