@XXXOverlord666 The only hope you have is stating your position, which is hopefully correct, and refusing to engage with any stupid tangents or fallacies. Stop talking until they address the point or go away. The only chance of success is that they think about it later and realize they were being stupid

@JoseViktor4099 It is indeed very hard, but not impossible. Sometimes people can surprise you. If I were in your position, I would have pursued a line of questioning about what "BS" it is that "they" want you to buy by telling you the world isn't flat. It's the weakest position to hold, because scientific explanations can easily be handwaved away as "magic" or "bullshit" by people who are uneducated or refuse to do research, especially if they've already bought in to the idea that it is a conspiracy of some sort. Again, I wouldn't even say that it is likely that they would change their position, but if you can get them to even think about it and second-guess themselves then it is a victory.
