Honestly I'd be slightly surprised if they went with a story that focused on Space Marines. The problem with SM is that they're not relatable at all. They're superhuman monks that, in the case of leadership, have been fighting for well over 200 years. That mindset is well beyond a normal human. One of the side or even lead roles? Sure that could go to an SM, but I'd imagine the main lead would be some kind of normal human. IMO, if they are smart with their marketing, they won't make the lead character an SM. A show about the Horus Heresy that follows the life of Ollanius Pius up to his climactic death would be rad and tell the story through a relatable yet incredibly heroic character.
