@numbersbubble I never beat Nier: Automata, but in my mind the androids look like that because in case humanity is near extinction they would need robowaifus to act as surrogate mothers. They just had the bad ending where the androids weren't enough to save the humans

@coolestonions990 In fairness, South Korea is unusually obsessed with appearance to the point of unhealthiness. Look up the giant jar of jaw shavings for example. But this character design is hardly unusual for a fantasy video game. Most normal women who play video games do want to be cool and/or attractive as well. Normal people are always drowned out by mentally ill people who are handed a proverbial megaphone however.
