  8.  @tastyterpenes4140  not to come off too offensive but i don't think you understand what quantum mechanics truly is. it does not have scope on the vast majority of anecdotal miracles. quantum mechanics is very much a work in progress to understand physics at a much smaller scale. the problem with physics as we know it is that the laws actually change at certain scales. classical physics works with nearly everything we deal with in our lives, but, just as an example, gravity as we know it just stops making sense when you start dealing with bodies that are massive enough. i'm talking bodies that are much more massive than any planet or star in our solar system the truth is we will never know how or why miracles happened, short of some kind of time traveling technology, because all we have to prove their existence is the documentation of other people. chances are high that many of them could simply be made up in order to avoid consequences for a big mistake. to use the example of the virgin Mary, "it was a miracle" is a really convenient way to avoid having to kill or exile a woman for the crime of adultery when she suddenly has a child and nobody knows why. the entire village may have been in on this lie for their own political reasons. many such cases throughout history in order to avoid punishment or burdens from authority. another popular one is everyone in a community pretending to be sick or crazy so they do not have to host a traveling king or noble that expects lavish accommodation. collective lying is a very, very powerful thing
