@christoffer5875 sumo isn't "like wwe" that implies the entire thing is scripted start to finish and there is little to no chance of injury. sumo is a "boys club" where some wrestlers have been known to make agreements on the down low to throw fights, due to how the progression system works (you need a positive record in a tournament to rank up, so if you have over 50% wins, you can lose intentionally for another fighter trying to advance rank as a favor). that does not mean that every fight is like that, far from it. some fights are between two "winners" or two "losers." they have zero reason to collude. there's also no reason to collude early in a tournament before a record is established. corrupt sumo matches are an edge case, if they are even still prevalent after they were exposed
